Cody + Jedd, new to Queensland, found the perfect venue for them in The Acre. They opted for a cocktail style wedding with bold, beautiful, colourful florals and simple yet impactful styling in the barn for their reception.

The Wedding Style >

We didn’t haven’t an exact style that we followed instead incorporated everything that we loved and it all came together perfectly. I guess you would call it modern, colourful and fun!

Why The Acre >

Having recently moved to Queensland from Victoria we wanted to find a venue that would highlight the beauty of the area and amazing weather during that time of the year. The lush greenery and palms at The Acre won us over and the weather turned it on for us on the day. It was exactly what we imagined it would be.

Our favourite part would be celebrating at the reception with all of our favourite people! The DJ brought the vibes and had everyone on the dance floor.

Favourite Thing On The Menu >

We had a cocktail style wedding so plenty of amazing food going around on the day. Hard to choose a favourite from the lot but the Arinchini balls and pork belly bites were a crowd favourite.

A Special Moment >

The moment we both agreed was most special was that period of time after all the ceremony and photos were done where Jedd & I were able to have a moment alone together in the buggy on the golf course to take it all in as husband and wife.
